DEPOSIT: 25% Deposit is required at time of booking and remaining balance due 60 days before arrival. 9% Belize hotel tax is added and a $1500 refundable security damage deposit is added to the final payment. Security damage deposit will be refunded within 7 days after departure if no damage is reported. Due to the special Covid-19 cleaning and sanitation requirements a cleaning fee of $250 is added to each reservation.

CANCELLATION: All cancellations must be made in writing and confirmed by the owners. Trips cancelled as a result of inclement weather and/or acts of God are non-transferable and not refundable. The White House in Placencia is not responsible for missed or delayed flights! We strongly recommend guests to purchase travel insurance.

REFUND: No refunds on cancellations made less than 60 days before arrival. Bookings made less than 60 days before arrival get full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking.

PAYMENT: Rates are listed in US Dollars. Payments are accepted by check.

TRAVEL VISA REQUIREMENTS: Guests are responsible for determining and obtaining proper entry documentation. All foreign nationals require a passport to enter Belize. Visitors from some countries may require a visa. No refunds will be granted for denied entry caused by failure to carry proper proof of citizenship or the appropriate visa.

CHILDREN: Children of all ages are permitted at The White House in Placencia, though we recommend against very young children (due to the space between balusters on balcony). There is a maximum occupancy of 6 people at any time on the property (including infants/children).

PETS: Pets are not allowed in The White House in Placencia.

SMOKING: The White House in Placencia is strictly non-smoking. An additional fee of US$250 will be charged for smoking anywhere on the property.
